Interesting: Stop-motion two ways

An interesting comparison to be made this week is of the stop-motion technique used in these two video clips.
Ton visage by Fréro Delavega, and Her Morning Elegance by Oren Lavie.

Both videos use a stationary camera shooting from above. The Oren Lavie music video is positioned so that almost all of the video takes place viewing the bed and changing scenery within that frame. Whereas in the Delavega music video instead of having one unchanging factor, such as the bed, they instead transform the whole room into living scenery. Whether you prefer the simplistic mainly black and white look of the “Morning Elegance” video or the continually moving array of colour and objects in the Delavega video; both have an affect and tell a story complementing the music they represent.
